Pre Birthday Pamper

On the eve on my 26th birthday I felt the need for a bit of TLC.  I am a big fan of the foot masks – I purchase them from Poundland – they stock tea tree and coconut ones and both are pleasant to use. They are little plastic booties with a moisturising liner and they are great for a quick fix.

Essie – cute as a button was a freebie from a Boots VIP night. The colour is a bold and vibrant pink perfect with a tan. The formula goes on smoothly. It’s been a while since I’ve used Essie so I am unsure how long it will be before it chips.

The big wow product for my was Goddess Skin from Charlotte Tilbury. It was my first time using the product so I wasn’t sure what to expect but I am sold. A clay mask that doesn’t set hard, it has a pleasant scent that isn’t overwhelming. I washed it off using a hot flannel and my skin felt the best it has in a long time. It looked naturally matte (my skin can be like an oil slick) it feels comfortable and looks clearer straight away! I followed it up with a Charlotte Tilbury moisturiser. I’m interested to see what my skin is like over the next few days after this mask but it’s certainly impressed with instant results.

Multi-Miracle Glow – Charlotte Tilbury

Wow!

This product has made my skin so soft! It also smells lovely and it is light in texture.

I have tried this product as a cleanser and a mask and both have made my skin the softest it has been in a long time.

When applied as a mask it felt slightly tacky in texture – though I have read that this means I’ve applied too much.

When used as a cleanser my skin felt soothed and refreshed.

Overnight Bronze and Glow Mask – Charlotte Tilbury

The product was one of my optional free samples when I recently splashed out at Charlotte Tilbury.

It was a very small sample – so small infact I struggled to get one complete application from it.

The product is gel like in its concistency and very light to apply it is gently fragranced and feel hardly there on the skin. However over the course of the evening the classic faketan smell emerged.

In the morning my skin was slightly more bronzed and I feel with multiple applications (the product reccomends up to 3 nights in a row) a more pronounced glow would be visable.

Priced at around £40 I won’t be rushing to purchase this.
